Not only that, but this highly polished finish outperforms the competition in the Coefficient of Friction performance test. This test measures the amount of force required to make a skater glide, and the results of Step Blacksteel were 50% less than comparative steel! This means you’ll use less force, gain more speed, and save more energy shift after shift!
Step’s Blacksteel is also one of the best runners at withstanding nicks from bangs and impacts against equipment and other objects. All of Step’s blades are built with a higher profile which gives hockey players an even deeper turn with more precision, and longer sharpening life.
